With the establishment of ecofeminism in the field of literary criticism, critics began to consider ecofeminism as an integral part of literary criticism. Ecofeminist criticism is a process theory, which has formed its own characteristics in the development of more than twenty years. This thesis attempts to trace the rise and development of ecofeminist criticism in the United States, examine the ecocriticism, the criticism of feminism, and the interaction of ecofeminism in its rise and development, and then try to summarize the development characteristics of this stage.
