目前泥型在鑄鉄方面已經被广泛地采用,并显示出了优异的成果。最近也有少数工厂大胆的把泥型运用在鑄鋼方面,也初步的得到成功。江南机器厂在铸铁方面实現了泥型化以后,目前又已經有8种汽輪机的鑄鋼零件初步投入生产;和平机器厂经过一系列試驗后,摸索到了一些經驗,并且已經成功的浇注了150公斤重的汽锤缸盖;太原重型机器厂更用泥型浇注了鑄鋼軋輥;……这些成就为泥型鑄鋼奠定了初步基础。 At present, the mud type has been widely used in castings and has shown excellent results.
