Polysaccharides are widely found in plants and animals. Their physiological functions, besides adhesion and support, play an important role in cell recognition, signal transduction, regulation of immune function, and control of cell migration, proliferation, differentiation, and metabolism. In recent years, the anti-tumor effects of polysaccharides extracted from plants and animals have caused widespread attention and their effects.
