新景矿3^#煤层属于煤与瓦斯突出煤层，通过采用工作面应力衰减段实施浅孔注水水力挤出，以及工作面进风巷打本煤层预抽瓦斯钻孔，在应力峰值段实施瓦斯抽放的综合防突技术，较好地消除了工作面突出危险性，提高了单产，实现了安全回采。
