兴趣是一种潜在的素质,它能激发学生对学习活动产生心理上的爱好和追求倾向,它是克服困难,推动学习活动的内在动力。由此可见,学生的学习兴趣不仅能转化为学习动力,而且也能促进学生智能的发展,达到提高学习效果的目的。反之,学生若失去了学习兴趣,学习就不再是一件快乐的事情,而是一个沉重的包袱,学习效果可想而知。因此,在英语教学中,必须不断创造能使学生产生浓厚兴趣的条件、环境和氛围,以达到事半功倍的效果。
Interest is a kind of potential quality. It can stimulate students’ psychological preference and pursuit of learning activities. It is the intrinsic motivation to overcome difficulties and promote learning activities. Thus, students’ interest in learning can not only translate into learning motivation, but also promote the development of student intelligence and achieve the purpose of improving learning outcomes. On the contrary, if students lose their interest in learning, learning is no longer a happy thing, but a heavy burden, and the learning effect can be imagined. Therefore, in English teaching, we must continuously create the conditions, environment and atmosphere in which students can have a great interest in order to achieve a multiplier effect.
