电梯是指服务于建筑物内若干特定的楼层,其轿厢运行在至少两列垂直于水平面或与铅垂线倾斜角小于15°的刚性轨道运动的永久运输设备。我国已经成为全球最大的电梯生产和消费市场,世界上主要的电梯品牌企业均在我国建立独资或合资企业,是电梯领域的世界工厂和制造中心。全球70%的电梯在中国制造,60%~65%的电梯销售在中国市场。近年来,随着各种电梯事故的曝光,人们也逐渐对电梯安全问题重视起来。
