故宫,以宏伟壮丽的建筑群闻名于世;故宫博物院,又以浩翰的文物珍藏蜚声国际。以故宫与故宫文物为题材的邮票,名副其实地起着“国家名片”的作用。这类邮票形象生动地介绍了中华民族悠久的文化艺术,促进了中外文化交流。紫禁城的宫殿建筑巍峩庄严,雄踞皇宫中心的太和殿,是皇帝实施最高权力的象征。最早选取太和殿为题材的邮票,是一套名为“洪宪纪念”
The Forbidden City is famous for its grand and magnificent architectural complex; the National Palace Museum is also renowned internationally for its treasures. The stamps, with the theme of the Forbidden City and the Forbidden City, play the role of “national card”.
