文书档案是机关、团体、企事业单位在行政管理事务活动中产生的,是由通用文书转化而来的档案的习惯称谓。包括命令、指示、决定、布告、请示、报告、批复、通知、信函、简报、会议记录、计划和总结等。由于这类档案在其产生、内容和形式上有一定共性,使用这一称谓对研究管理这类档案工作具有重要的意义。也有人把文书档案作为与科学技术档案相对而言的各类档案的统称。
Document archives are organs, groups, enterprises and institutions in the administrative activities arising from the activities of the common document is converted from the customary title of the file. Including orders, directions, decisions, announcements, requests, reports, replies, notices, letters, briefings, minutes, plans and conclusions. Due to the commonalities of such archives in their production, content and form, the use of this title is of great significance to the study and management of such archives. Others have referred to clerical archives as a general term for all types of archives as opposed to scientific and technological archives.
