介绍表面磁光克尔效应谱(SMOKE)的一种新方案。通过适当分光并测量信号束和参考束的光强比,可以明显改善由于激光的光强不稳造成的误差,还使得随机偏振激光器也能用于SMOKE装置。同时该方案中没有采用信号调制,因此对探测器等硬件要求很低。实验结果表明,采用光强稳定度为5%的普通国产He-Ne随机偏振激光器,其测量灵敏度能够达到目前国际上通常用于超薄膜磁性测量的SMOKE的同类水平。
A new scheme of surface magneto - optic Kerr effect spectrum (SMOKE) is introduced. By properly splitting and measuring the ratio of the intensities of the signal and reference beams, the error due to the unsteady light intensity of the laser can be significantly improved and the random polarized laser can also be used in SMOKE devices. At the same time the program did not use signal modulation, so the hardware requirements of the detector is very low. The experimental results show that the average home-made He-Ne random polarization laser with light intensity stability of 5% can reach the same level of SMOKE which is commonly used in the field of ultrathin magnetic measurement in the world at present.
