随着湘西土家族人所受教育的途径增多和外部世界变化，他们的传统伦理道德观念必然受到现代文明的冲击和碰撞。文章以程氏宗族为例，向人们揭示，为加快湘西土家族地区现代化进程，现要做的最关键的工作是努力建构起适应社会主义市场经济发展的新的伦理道德体系。
As the ways in which the Tujia nationality in xiangxi have been educated and the external world has changed, their traditional concepts of ethics and morality must be impacted and collided by modern civilization. Taking Cheng Clan as an example, the article reveals to people that in order to speed up the process of modernization of Tujia nationality in western Hunan, the most crucial task to be done is to strive to construct a new ethics system that is suitable for the development of the socialist market economy.
