TV media is the government’s mouthpiece, there is no risk of being eliminated by the market, so the non-standard media competition has become inevitable. China’s media market is a complex and fragmented market. It not only has a vast geographical area but also a large number of media outlets. There are over 3,500 national, provincial and local TV channels in the television media alone. Over the years, the result of competition in the media market has been stronger, weaker and weaker. CCTV has maintained its rapid development while local stations have been hard to develop. In particular, some municipal and county-level television stations are relatively poorly managed.
