广州市越秀区东山实验小学的前身是五羊二小和五羊三小,分别创办于1992年和1995年。2003年两校合并,更名为东山实验小学。该校为培养“明志善学,和而不同”的学子,紧紧围绕“带着梦飞翔”的办学理念,积极构建“一体两翼”的办学体系,以师生主动发展为主体,以人文、科技为两翼,以赏识激励、感受成功为动力,以追求卓越、实现梦想为目标,以变革的姿态、务实的作风、创意的行动,致力于把学校办成一个勇于筑梦的实验乐园。
