吴官正同志在中央纪委第二次全会工作报告中指出:“在坚持和完善纪检监察机关合署办公的体制下,各级纪检监察机关要在全面履行纪检监察两项职能中,进一步发挥行政监察职能作用,以适应完善社会主义市场经济体制,应对加入世贸组织,推进依法行政的客观要求。”新世纪新阶段赋予了行政监察工作更明确、更艰巨的任务,提出了更高的要求。行政监察工作如何与时俱进寻求新的突破,需要在全面贯彻中央纪委二次全会精神中进行深入的实践和探索。本期摘要刊发三位纪委书记、监察厅(局)长撰写的文章,他们根据自己的实践,从不同侧面,对行政监察工作如何发展创新的问题进行了探索,希望能够对读者有所启迪。

Based on their own practice, they explored how to develop and innovate the administrative supervision from different aspects and hoped that they could be enlightened to readers .
