The catalytic effect of Fe (Ⅲ) on the fading reaction of H 2 O 2 crystal and the optimum experimental conditions and kinetic parameters were studied in H 2 SO 4 medium. A new method for the determination of trace iron was established. The detection limit of the method was 2 73 × 10 -11g / L, the determination range of 0 ~ 25μg / L, for the determination of trace amounts of iron in water to obtain satisfactory results
