I. Overview At present, asphalt pavement construction of high-grade highways in China is still lack of high-quality asphalt that meets the technical requirements. The use of imported asphalt not only consumes a large amount of foreign exchange capital but also raises the project cost, thus affecting the development of high-grade highways.
