蒂森集团早在100年以前就有“钢铁大王”之称,第二次世界大战期间。蒂森控制的企业全力为希特勒的法西斯战争服务。目前蒂森财团所有钢铁企业都集中在蒂森钢铁股份公司和蒂森特殊钢股份公司。1986年蒂森钢铁股份公司粗钢产量1100万t,特殊锕股份公司为100万t。为了提高产品质量,降低生产成本,改善环境,节省能源,蒂森钢铁企业采用了不少新设备和新工艺。如蒂森的焦化厂在西德最先装备了干熄焦设备,在炼铁、炼钢、连铸、轧钢等方面也都采用了新设备和新技术。1987年连铸比已达到80％以上。本文详细地介绍了蒂森钢铁股份公司和蒂森特殊钢股份公司的生产设备和工艺流程,以及采用的新技术。
