得知温州有端木姓氏,源自和朋友的一次随意谈话。朋友温大毕业,他说,自己的英文老师姓端木,叫端木敏静,为人随和。端木,好有韵味的一个姓。伴着好奇,记者推开了温州大学城市学院英语组办公室的大门,随后也就有了这次探访端木姓氏的采访。端木敏静一边拿出两本厚厚的族谱,一边笑着说:“我们端木家族虽然不算兴旺,但也是名门之后。”族谱分上下册厚厚两本,有点破损(族谱何时破损已无从考证)。翻开端木族谱,第一页赫然写着端木姓氏发源自东鲁,始祖:子贡。
