反映群众心声,是党报工作的题中应有之义。从总体上说,我们的各级党报一直是重视做好这方面工作的,但与人民群众的要求相比,还有一定差距。目前一些报纸上“领导活动多,会议新闻多,工作报道多,基层信息少”的现象的确存在。因此,今年初召开的全国宣传部长会议要求新闻宣传工作把体现党的意志与反映人民群众的心声统一起来,十分必要。怎样做好反映群众心声的工作呢?第一,需要提高认识。党的十五届六中全会通过的《中共中央关于加强和改进党的作风建设的决定》指出:“马克思主义执政党的最大危险,就是脱离群众。”要密切党与人民群众的血肉联系,发挥党报的桥梁和纽带作用尤为重要。是重视还是漠视人民群众的心声,实质上涉及到为谁办报、办什么样的报的大问题。第二,必须讲究方法。社会舆情非常复杂,报什么,怎么报,应当从大局考虑用心研究。本期《前沿关注》讨论“及时、准确、全面地反映人民群众的心声”,所发5篇文章对此作了较好的回答。我们热切希望各级党报认真贯彻“三个代表”重要思想,按照十六大精神大胆探索,切实做好反映群众心声的工作,本刊十分乐意介绍各地创造的新鲜经验。 Reflecting the voice of the masses is the proper meaning of the work of the party newspaper. Whether we should attach importance to or ignore the opinions of the masses of the people is essentially a big issue concerning who should run the newspaper and what newspaper to run. Second, we must pay attention to the method. Social public opinion is very complicated, what is reported, how to report, we should consider the overall situation carefully. This issue of “cutting-edge concern” discusses “timely, accurate and comprehensive reflection of the aspirations of the masses of the people” and made a good answer to the five articles it sent. We sincerely hope that the party newspapers at all levels will conscientiously carry out the important thinking of the ’Three Represents,’ boldly explore in line with the spirit of the 16th CPC National Congress, and earnestly do well in reflecting the voice of the masses.
