语文是一门必修的应用工具学科。语文课程及其教学活动的特点不仅表现在自身的语言美、意境美和创意美,还体现在具有善于教化功能的“君子品性”。对于一个人来讲,语文学习除了在社会生产生活中的必要应用,还有发展能力、提升素养、净化思想和修身养性等实际功用。中等专业学校的学生,正处于思维发育成熟前夕的发展阶段,他们的思想辨识、拒绝诱惑和自我净化能力尚处于可塑之期。因此,我们应当把握时机,教育他们养成多读书、读好书的良好习惯,引导他们在乐于阅读和善于阅读之中,不断提高知识储备体系以及人文道德修养,以有效发展个性思维的想象能力和分析能力。
