朱家溍沿是中国著名的文博专家,也是故宫博物院著名学者和文物鉴定专家,他与故宫博物院渊缘深长。朱家浯在故宫博物院开院之时即为第一批观众,后又成为故宫博物院的员工,从事过多种类别的文博工作。他对故宫博物院宫廷生活原状陈列,投入了极大的精力,研究日益精深,涉及明清历史、政治、宗教、民俗、文化等诸多方面;在他与同事们的不懈努力之下,新中国成立以来的故宫博物院的原状陈列工作顺利开展,吸引数以万计的海内外观众前来观览,并在世界遗址性博物馆中成为最具特点的展览形式。朱家溍对原状陈列的研究,开拓了中国博物馆研究的新领域,启示后学,影响深远。
