在化学工作中很重要的、经常要做的一种工作就是测定物质或混合物的组成。解决这样一个任务的科学称为分析化学。分析化学在化学的发展上起着重大的作用。我们知道每一种化合物都有一定的组成,例如氯化银,不论它来自地球的哪一个角落,天然生成的或是人工制成的,化学分析的结果告诉我们,只要它是纯净的,都有一定的组成,都是由75.3%的银和24.7%的氯组成的。很多化学上的知识都是由分析的结果得到的。各种物质所发生的化学变化,只有利用化学分析才能知道参加化学变化的是一些什么物质。研究其他科学,如矿物学,生理学等,只要是涉及化学现象的,都离不了应用分析化学的方法。
One of the most important and often done tasks in chemical work is to determine the composition of a substance or mixture. The science that solves such a task is called analytical chemistry. Analytical chemistry plays a major role in the development of chemistry. We know that every kind of compound has a certain composition, such as silver chloride, no matter which corner of the earth it comes from, naturally occurring or artificial, chemical analysis results tell us that as long as it is pure, A certain composition consists of 75.3% silver and 24.7% chlorine. A lot of chemical knowledge is derived from the results of the analysis. The chemical changes that occur in various substances can only be known by chemical analysis. The study of other sciences such as mineralogy and physiology cannot be separated from the application of analytical chemistry as long as it involves chemical phenomena.
