2006年夏,台湾中央研究院中国文哲研究所研究员、著名学者林庆彰率领“晚清蜀学研究会”16名学者代表,头顶烈日,徒步乡间,走访村民,登临金鹏,穿越时空,实地考察清末民初著名学者吴之英故里。此事经媒体报道,佳话如潮,在四川和中国文化史上作出了重大贡献的吴之英日益被世人关注。
