Objective To investigate the influencing factors of complications of peripheral central venous catheter in patients with tuberculous meningitis and to propose nursing countermeasures. Methods The clinical nursing data of 182 patients with tuberculous meningitis passing through the peripheral venous catheter in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. The data of the clinical nursing were analyzed by univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Central venous catheter in patients with tuberculous meningitis complications, and targeted care measures. Results A total of 182 patients with tuberculous meningitis were treated by peripheral central venous catheter in 21 cases, the incidence rate was 11.54%. Univariate analysis showed that catheterization time, combined with basic diseases, nursing staff length of service, nurses received professional training, (P <0.01). The Logistic multivariate analysis showed that the patients with combined basic diseases, nurses received professional training, and whether the personal maintenance was the result of Logistic multivariate analysis Independent central venous catheter treatment of complications of independent factors (P <0.01). Conclusions It is an independent influencing factor for the complication that the basic diseases and nurses should be professionally trained and the specialists maintain the peripheral central venous catheters. To strengthen the nursing staff training and management after the catheterization is to avoid the central venous catheter placement The most effective measures for the treatment of complications.
