织里镇地处杭嘉湖平原北部,位于湖州市城区东部,北临太湖,南靠318国道和长湖申航道,历史上因织造业兴盛而得名。织里镇原为乡村小集镇,晚清期间归湖州府乌程县管辖。民国时期曾设镇,新中国建立后行政区域多次调整,现织 Zhili Town is located in the north of Hangzhou-Jiaxing-Huzhou Plain. It is located in the east of Huzhou City, facing Taihu Lake in the north, 318 National Highway in the south, and Shenhang Hang Road in Changhu Lake. It was named after the prosperity of the weaving industry in history. Zhili Town used to be a small township in the countryside and was under the jurisdiction of Wucheng County in Huzhou during the late Qing Dynasty. In the period of the Republic of China, the town was once established. After the establishment of New China, the administrative region was adjusted several times.
