A three-dimensional complex | [Cu(amet)2 ]2 [ Fe(CN)6] |∞(amet = NH2CH2CH2OH) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, Mossbauer spectra and magnetic properties. X-ray diffraction analyses show that the complex belongs to the orthorhombic space group of Pnnm with α= 11 .649(2)A, b = 11.860(2) A, c = 7.944(2)A, V = 1097 .5(4) A3 , Z = 2. The three-dimensional complex consists of chain unit | [Cu(amet)2]2 [Fe(CN)6 ] | ∞ , in which each Fe is octahedrally coordinated and each Cu 2+ is, in the environment of triangular dipyramid.
