80年代后期以来，我国医学英文权威著作藏书日益贫乏，资深医学家强烈呼吁应重视其对医、教、研的影响。对书刊价值的平衡认识是解决问题的关键。“小型医学图书馆书刊精选目录”与“内科医师文库”是医学藏书建设两种决定性工具。优选外国书商是重要的，本文对两家美国公司做了小型比较，供同行讨论。采集馆员应有紧迫感，更多学习医学文献学，在多载体出版物中进行最佳选择。
Since the late 1980s, the collection of medical English authoritative books has become increasingly scarce. Senior medical scientists strongly urge that they should attach importance to their influence on medicine, teaching and research. The balance of value of books and magazines is the key to solve the problem. “Small medical library catalogs” and “Physician Library” are two decisive tools for medical collection construction. It is important to optimize foreign booksellers, and this article makes a small comparison of two U.S. companies for peer discussion. Collection librarians should have a sense of urgency, learn more about medical literature, and make the best choices in multi-carrier publications.
