From May 26 to May 31, 2012, Xu Shicheng, a member of the honorary academic department of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a researcher at Latin American Institute, was invited to attend the first International Symposium on Conditions and Challenges in 21st Century China and Latin America and the Caribbean to be held in Mexico.
