初春,是百花盛开的季节。1991年3月28日,原国防部长张爱萍将军偕夫人李又兰健步来到中国历史博物馆,观看日本女书法家越川晏仙的作品展览。 将军,高高的个子,灰白的头发自然而整齐地向后梳拢,面庞较前胖了些,一幅金丝边眼镜映衬着善目慈眉,透出儒将之风。他仔细看过展出的作品后,微笑着对越川女士说,欢迎你来华举办书展,听说你10年内来中国20次,其中5次到西安碑林观摩和研讨,你对中国书法源渊有较深的研究并形成自己的风格。他还说,感谢你带来几十名男女青年学生到中国研习书法,把中日人民的友谊传给下一代。越川女士激动地向张将军深深地鞠了一躬。
