In early mixed dentures, it is important to accurately determine the available clearance. Many scholars have come up with a variety of methods for estimating the mesial and distal mesial dimensions of unevened canines and bicuspids and their available clearance in early mixed dentition. Categorized as two ways, that is, a variety of X-ray method and the eruption of the measured value of the near and far median diameter of the indirect estimation method. Although there are many different analysis methods for indirect estimation, statistical analysis shows that the predictive value of X-ray photography is closer to the joint width of the actual canines and bicuspids.
