Objective: To understand the characteristics of adverse drug reaction (ADR) and the related factors that lead to ADR, to promote clinical rational use of drugs. Methods: A total of 158 adverse drug reactions (ADR) reports collected during 2007-2008 were analyzed retrospectively. Results: Of the 158 ADR cases, the most ADR was caused by intravenous infusion, accounting for 86.71% (137 cases) of the total number of cases. The most ADR was caused by antibiotics, accounting for 78.48% (124 cases) of the total cases. ADR showed the most common skin and accessory injury, accounting for 59.48% of the total cases (94 cases). Conclusion: The route of administration, the type of drug and other factors will affect the occurrence of ADR. Clinical reports should pay attention to the reporting and monitoring of adverse drug reactions, reduce the use of injections and use antimicrobial agents rationally to reduce or avoid the occurrence of ADR.
