利福定又名异丁基哌嗪力复霉素(R-76-1),是新力复霉素类半合成抗生素(?)结构中具有多个羟基与硼酸形成水溶性好并对其有保护作用的络合物。在20℃以下室温存贮四个月,用420μ紫色滤光片测定其透光度为5.1%,消光度1.4(含量为74%),同法置于冰箱冷藏其透光度为5.0%,消光度为1.5(含量为80%)。新配制的透光度为1%,消光度为1.9(作基准按含量100%计算).其降解速率缓慢,应用于临床治疗沙眼、结膜炎、效果较好,滴眼后无不适感.
