书刊是传播知识积累文化的重要手段,书刊的思想内容需要通过语言文字来表达,进一步加强书刊编辑的文字修养就显得尤为重要。语言文字传达思想内容首要标准是准确与否,编辑必须具备现代汉语修养,能够正确辨别汉语拼音,认知汉字,能够从语音来辨别字形的正误,语法、词汇和修辞能力也是期刊编辑必须具备的。语言文字修养,还应该包括一定的古汉语修养。中国出版业在加入WTO后将会迎接很多挑战,外文素养也就显得格外重要。电子出版物的编校质量标准中文字也要准确、通顺,无错字别字,这一切都要求书刊编辑提高语言文字修养,使书刊能够在多媒体迅速发展的今天,用它独特的优势赢得读者的信赖和喜欢,使传统意义上的书刊和电子书刊一样成为人们生活中不可或缺的精神食粮。
Books and periodicals are an important means of disseminating knowledge and accumulating culture. The ideological content of books and periodicals needs to be expressed in languages and scripts. It is especially important to further enhance the literacy of books and periodicals. The first criterion for the content of ideological content in language writing is accuracy or not. Editors must possess modern Chinese accomplishments, be able to correctly identify Chinese Pinyin and recognize Chinese characters, and be able to distinguish orthographic forms from their phonetic features. Grammar, vocabulary and rhetorical skills are also essential for periodical editors . Language and culture, should also include a certain degree of ancient Chinese accomplishments. China’s publishing industry will meet many challenges after its accession to the WTO and foreign literacy will become even more important. The quality and standard of electronic publications must be accurate, smooth and free of errors. All these require publication editors to improve their linguistic accomplishments so that books and periodicals can win the trust of readers with its unique advantages in the rapid development of multimedia today. Like, so that the traditional sense of books and electronic books become the same people’s lives indispensable spiritual food.
