78130是我省龙溪地区农校1978年用汕优二号作母本,威20作父本杂交,于1981年育成的中熟早籼稻品种.1983～1984年参加全省早稻品种区域试验,平均亩产885.6～891.5斤,比对照种增产2.5～9.5%;1984年早季,同时在全省范围内的六个地、市进行大面积生产试验示范,面积达43万余亩,也普遍获得增产.一般亩产800～900斤,高的达千斤以上.该品种植株高90厘米左右,茎秆坚韧,直立紧凑,不易倒伏,叶片短窄,根系发达,后期转色好.分蘖力中
