近年来,校园自杀事件和中小学生的自毁行为反映出我国部分青少年学生生命意识的欠缺,暴露了学校教育中对中小学生生命教育的缺失。苏教版《思想品德》七年级下册教材很好地提供了实施生命教育的教材资源,作为中学思想品德课的教师要强化责任意识和使命意识,勇于担当,深刻把握生命教育的内容,研读教材,因地制宜,因材施教,不断提高生命教育的实效性。
