“手拉手,户外走,说说话,散散心,情切切,意绵绵,身体好,永相伴。”这是领导干部的优秀代表、原湖南省委副书记郑培民一次与妻子散步在日记中记录下来的诗句,表现了他们婚姻的美满和爱情的真挚。郑培民与妻子杨力求结为秦晋之好后,两人的差距越来越大:郑培民20世纪80年代初到清华大学上了一年半研究生班,而杨力求仍旧是小学文化程度;郑培民先后当上市委副书记、书记、州委书记、副省长、省委副书记,而杨力求始终是书店的小职员。但郑培民对妻子的柔情蜜意始终如一,忠贞不渝。杨力求常打趣地对丈夫说:
