毛泽东主席唐卡画像 高103.5厘米,宽74厘米。1954年十四世达赖喇嘛到北京出席第一届全国人民代表大会时敬献毛泽东主席的礼品。上面绘有9幅反映西藏和平解放后,进藏部队和工作人员为西藏人民做好事的图画。其画面以金皮包裹,上刻祥禽瑞兽、“八宝”图案,并刻有献词:敬爱的毛主席,永远跟着您,建设新西藏,建设伟大祖国。2003年8月,由中共中央统战部、国务院新闻办公室、国家民族事务委员会共同主办的、全面反映我国西藏社会历史变迁的大型展览—雪域的脚步,在北京民族文化宫展出展览通过大量历史图片、文字资料和见证实物详实介绍了西藏的历史沿革与发展。 西藏地处祖国的西南边睡,地域辽阔风光绮丽物产丰富,历史悠久。
