However, her poet’s status has long been overlooked because of her poetic achievements. In fact, Charlotte’s poetry creation far earlier than the novel, the amount and quality of poetry and fiction are comparable, the style of poetry both adhering to the British romanticism, but also highlights the Victorian poetic style, both full of strange imagination, and Blend of their own experience. First, we briefly review the background of Charlotte’s poetry creation. Secondly, we briefly introduce the published poetry and the translation works. Finally, we review the more prominent features of poetry, which mainly focus on the motif, style and theme of poetry.
