“Billy Lynn’s midfielder war” is not an anti-war movie. That is because the film itself poses a more important issue, far above the war. This issue is especially reflected in the comparison between the battlefields in Iraq and the Super Bowl. Different from the consistent image of the war, the former is a reality in the film, the latter is false, the former has love and justice, and the latter makes painstaking efforts.
