今天,中国的中央广播电视大学邀请国内外从事远距离教育的专家、学者聚集北京,举行国际远距离高等教育研讨会,对远距离教育的理论和实践问题进行探讨,并相互交流有益的经验,这是中国和国际远距离教育界的一件很有意义的事。我代表中华人民共和国国家教育委员会,并以我个人的名义向各位代表和来宾表示热烈的欢迎,对大会表示衷心的祝贺。
Today, China’s Central Radio and Television University invites domestic and foreign experts and scholars engaged in distance education to gather in Beijing to hold an international symposium on distance higher education, to discuss the theory and practice of distance education and to exchange useful experiences with each other. This is a very significant thing for the Chinese and international distance education communities. On behalf of the State Education Commission of the People’s Republic of China, I, on behalf of my own, extend a warm welcome to all the delegates and guests and congratulates the congress.
