On January 11, 2014, the Eighth National People’s Congress of China Accounting Association was grandly held at Beijing National Accounting Institute. The meeting reviewed and approved the Report on the Work of the Seventh Council of China Accounting Association, the Statutes of the Chinese Accounting Society (Draft Amendment) and the Development Plan (Draft) of the Eighth Council of the Chinese Accounting Association; elected the Chinese accounting Learned the Eighth Council and its leading agency; and subsequently held the first meeting of the Eighth Session of the Chinese Accounting Society and the Eighth Standing Committee meeting to discuss the current and future period of research direction and focus. Mr. Jin Lianshu, president of China Accounting Association’s 7th council, and Mr. Yang Min, vice president of China Accounting Association, presided over the meetings in the morning and afternoon respectively.
