In the 1970s, with the cultural shift in translation studies, the translator’s subjectivity received more and more attention from the translation research community. Moment in Peking is a literary masterpiece written by Lin Yutang in English. At present, there are several Chinese translations, including the translation by Zhang Zhenyu and the translation by Yu Fei. Based on the translator’s subjectivity theory, the translators of these two versions embody the manipulation of translation texts in the translation activities, such as choice of translators, comprehension of original texts and expression of translated texts, and demonstrate that the translator’s subjective consciousness is involved in the actual translation process Is inevitable.
