With the recent debate in religious circles over multiple religious belonging and multiple religious identities arising from the rise of religious dialogue, religious dialogue has entered another phase of construction of self-religious identity. For this reason, other religions become elements of self-religious identity. Therefore, the article first discusses the differences between multiple religious affiliations and multiple religious identities. Second, the article discusses the reality of the dual religious identity of East Asian Christians and the evolution of religious traditions in history. Finally, from a theatrical theological approach, particularly the Boston Confucian doctrine of Robert C. Neville, responds to the feasibility of dual religious identity in both Confucianism and Judaism.
