大麦产量由单位面积的穗数、每穗粒数和粒重所构成,粒重是影响产量的重要因素之一,特别是二棱皮大麦由于千粒重大,每穗粒数少,其粒重对产量影响更大。二棱大麦又是酿造啤酒的重要原料,啤酒大麦的重要质量指标是籽粒大而饱满,大小均匀一致,千粒重最好在40克以上。随着人民生活水平的提高,啤酒工业的发展,对大麦籽粒品质的要求,必将越来越高,因此大麦粒重不仅直接关系到大麦单位面积的产量,而且也关系到酿造啤酒的品质。经1971—78年间,我们在杭州本校华家池农场,在不同试验中对大麦粒重进行了观察和测定,积累了一些资料,现将历年观察结果整理分析如下:
