Objective To understand the status quo and learning needs of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge in non-clinical majors in vocational colleges and to explore the establishment of relevant training mode. Methods A total of 1000 non-clinical undergraduates from vocational colleges in our city were randomly selected, and questionnaires were used to investigate their knowledge of CPR and their willingness to demand. Results The passing rate of cardiopulmonary resuscitation scores of 1000 non-clinical undergraduates was 10.1%. There was no significant difference in knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation among non-clinical undergraduates of different sexes and schools (P> 0.05). The passing rate of CPR with training experience was significantly higher There was no training experience (P <0.05). Network and TV were the main ways for non-clinical undergraduates to acquire CPR knowledge. 86.2% of college students were willing to learn CPR knowledge. The most sought after training channels were schools and hospitals. Conclusions The knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in non-clinical majors in vocational colleges is lacking, but the learning needs are strong. Schools should vigorously carry out the knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and improve the emergency rescue ability of college students.
