在当今的戏剧演出中,舞台美术设计师独创性的功能日益重要和显著,成为了戏剧演出一个特定的不可分割的有机部分。本文就四川人民艺术剧院近年上演的三部话剧《雪域忠魂》《巴交龙布》和《铁血西迁》的舞台美术进行探讨,分析了舞台美术设计师的二度创作对剧本从案头作品转换成舞台剧的关键作用,以及舞台美术设计师的二度创作或多或少地对一度创作所传达的隐在涵义给予了一定程度的提高和延伸;并指出,舞台上的任何元素在运用时,都必须服从一度创作给定的规定情境,也必须服从导演和舞台美术设计师在二度创作时所产生的新构想。
