在目前的30毫米氧化铅摄象管中,电子束的光点直径有时小得和两行间的间隔一样大,在这种情况下,继续提高摄象管的分辨力是毫无意义的,因为垂直分辨力不是由管子,而是由扫描行数确定的。但如果有可能提高扫描行数(如同高分辨电视系统那种情况),就能进一步改善摄象管。因此,专门为这种系统研制了一种新管子,其图象对角线设计成26毫米,取得了很高的分辨力。为了改善惰性,采用了二极管系统。这也意味着,束流对采用束流控制技术来处理高亮度是足够的。
In current 30 mm lead oxide tubes, the spot diameter of the electron beam is sometimes as small as the spacing between the two rows. In this case, it is meaningless to continue to improve the resolving power of the tube. Because the vertical resolution is not determined by the pipe, but by the number of scanning lines. However, if it is possible to increase the number of scanning lines (as is the case in high resolution television systems), the video tube can be further improved. Therefore, a new tube specifically for this system has been developed with a diagonal design of 26 mm and a high resolution. To improve inertia, a diode system is used. This also means that beaming is adequate for beam current control to handle high brightness.
