碳酸氢钠是纠正酸中毒的常用药物,近年来应用范围不断扩大。静脉注射可治疗流行性出血热低血压休克、血管性头痛、链霉素中毒、婴幼儿喘憋性肺炎、哮喘持续状态和脑血栓形成。静脉注射本品还能提高敌敌畏中毒病人的救治效果以及有利于心脏停搏病人的心肺复苏。碳酸氢钠溶液用于灌肠可治疗霉菌性肠炎;用于冲洗结核性脓肿能促进病灶愈合。
