农村研究正在成为显学 ,其直接契机是 ,大批学者在九十年代开始的村委会选举与村民自治过程中 ,有机会深入农村 ,参与观察 ,从事调查。不过 ,如果我们放大视野 ,便可发现 ,目前之所以有不同学科的大批学者依然钟情于民间田野工作 ,其动机是寻找中国现代化的路径 ,其影响则是促进社会科学的本土化。本文就社会科学本土化的含义、农村研究与中国问题意识的关系等 ,提出若干评论性意见 Rural research is becoming obvious. Its direct opportunity is that a large number of scholars have the opportunity to go deep into the countryside, participate in observation and engage in investigations in the process of village committee election and villager autonomy that started in the 1990s. However, if we enlarge our horizons, we can find that the reason why a large number of academics in different disciplines are still fond of working in non-governmental fields is motivated by the search for the path of China’s modernization. Its influence is to promote the localization of social science. This article puts forward some commentations on the meaning of social science localization and the relationship between rural research and China’s problem awareness
