1967年日本学者土居养二等提出类菌质体是引起桑萎缩病的病原。泡桐丛枝病的病原也被认为是类菌质体。1972年土居又提出,引起桑萎缩病和泡桐丛枝病的类菌质体在休眠枝条内看不到,而要到生长期才能见到。上海生物化学研究所在利用电镜对桑萎缩病的病原在病树中消长的研究中,也得出了类似结果。1978和1979两年,我们用发生丛枝病的泡桐枝条进行离体萌发试验,得出了与上述不同的结果。
In 1967, Japanese scholar Habitat II proposed that the mycoplasma is the causative agent of mulberry wilt disease. Paulownia witches broom disease pathogen is also considered to be mycoplasma. In 1972, Habitat proposed that the mycoplasma that caused the mulberry wilt disease and the Paulownia witches-bark disease could not be seen in the dormant branches, but only in the growth phase. Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry in the use of electron microscopy mulberry wilt pathogen in the diseased tree growth and decline in the study also reached similar results. In 1978 and 1979, we performed the in vitro germination test with Paulownia branches on which the broom disease occurred, and obtained different results from the above.
