作为一名农村初中英语教师,在多年的英语教学中我切身感受到语境对学生学习英语的重要性。以前,我们学习英语的方法比较传统:从26个字母开始,接着死记硬背单词,然后熟记语法,再把重要的短文或情景对话背诵下来。虽然这样也能取得好成绩,但与学习语言存在着本质的缺陷,违背了人类大脑学习语言的机制。每个小孩一出生受周围语言环境的影响,很自然地慢慢学会说话,并随着年龄的增长使语言表达准确无误。因此,老师不需要让学生刻意去攻读英语,而需要熟练地说、熟练地用。一开始每个人都会说错,就像小孩儿刚学会说话一样,
As a junior high school English teacher in rural areas, I have experienced the importance of context to English learning for many years in English teaching. In the past, our approach to learning English has been more traditional: starting with 26 letters, followed by memorizing words, memorizing grammar, and memorizing important essays or contextual dialogues. Although good results can be achieved in this way, there are inherent deficiencies with language learning, which runs counter to the human language learning mechanism. Every child born by the surrounding language environment, naturally slowly learn to speak, and with age to make language accurate.
